Slump is the process of making slump glass or textured glass. The process is highly time consuming and the glass gets cooked in an oven until it gets slightly melted and then the colling will start

Once the slump process is complete the flat glass surfurce will become 3D as per the pattern in the oven. This will be either toughened or not depending on the required product

Why Textured glass?

Textured glass is unique and adds privacy without obstructing the light. It’s perfect to brigten up areas which requires privacy

Only simple designs can be achieved compared with sand blasting designs

How smooth is the surfurce once it's textured?

One side is very smooth and one side is rough. Depending on the use we must be practical on choosing the side to be smooth

What product are common with textured glass?

Shower screens, Splashbacks, Privacy balustrades, fixed glass partitions and windows

How thick the textured glass must be?

It has to be at least 6mm if it requires toughening. Higher the thickness higher the weight. Thickness should be decided as per the use of the product it’s used for

What maximum dimentions can the textured glass have?
