Q: Do you supply splashbacks without installation?

Warm soapy water or a standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth, and that is it. With no grout lines to scrub, a full clean takes under a minute. Avoid abrasive pads, which can dull the surface over time.

Q: Are glass splashbacks safe behind a gas cooktop?

Yes. Glass splashbacks are safe behind gas and electric cooktops when made from toughened safety glass to AS/NZS 2208 and installed with the required clearances. Every Design Inferno splashback is manufactured and installed to this standard.

Q: Are glass splashbacks better than tiles?

For most kitchens, yes. Glass is grout free, seamless and hygienic, cleans in seconds and delivers deeper, continuous colour. Tiles cost less upfront but need ongoing grout maintenance, and grout is where kitchen grime collects.

Our signature range, led by the exclusive 2CP splashback. Design Inferno Glass colour matches splashbacks to any chosen colour, painted onto toughened safety glass that meets AS/NZS 2208 for a deep, flawless finish that ordinary painted glass cannot reproduce.

Exclusive designer ranges

What colours can splashbacks be?

A glass splashback can be made in any colour. Bring a paint swatch, a fabric or a tile, and we will match it exactly, with hundreds of colours on display in our Keilor Park showroom. Crisp whites that bounce light around small kitchens, deep blacks with mirror like depth, bold brights and soft metallics. If you can point to it, we can make it in glass.

The Keilor Park showroom displays the largest splashback range in Melbourne, all under one roof at 48 Logistics Street, Keilor Park VIC 3042. We are open Monday to Thursday from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm and Friday from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm, and closed on weekends and Victorian public holidays.
